Do I have to sign up for Remote Deposit?
Yes, you do have to sign up for Remote Deposit. Even if you already have signed up for Online/Mobile Banking, you need to create a username and password for Remote Deposit. Follow these steps to sign up for Remote Deposit

1. Open the Mobile App and click on the three stacked lines in the top left-hand corner to pull up the menu.
2. Click on “Remote Deposit.
3. On the next screen, click “Sign Up”.
4. Type in your first name, last name, email, and phone number.
5. Now choose a password and a username. Click “Continue”.
6. On the next screen, type in an account label. It can be a nickname for the account.
7. In the next box, choose if you would like to deposit your check into your share account or your draft account.
8. In the third box, type in your account number and hit “Submit”.
9. Someone in the main office will review your information. You will receive an email once your Remote Deposit sign up has been completed. Please allow up to two business days for that to be completed.
How do I deposit a check using Remote Deposit?

1. Open the Mobile App and click on the three stacked lines in the top left-hand corner to pull up the menu.
2. Click on “Remote Deposit.
3. Type in your username and password and click “Login”.
4. On the next screen, click “Make Deposit”.
5. Click on “Amount” and then type in the amount of the check and click “Done”.
6. Click on “Front”. Take a picture of the front of your check. Use the guides to make the check fit in the screen. Once the picture is taken, make sure it is not blurry. Click “Use”.
7. Click on “Back”. Make sure you have signed the check AND that you have written “For Mobile Deposit at Members First Credit Union only” on the back of the check. Take a picture. Once the picture is taken, click “Use”.
8. Click the blue Submit button.
9. Someone in the main office will review the check and deposit the funds in your account. Please allow up to two business days for the funds to be deposited.
